Azahari Husin
This is one of the top bomb-makers in the world, and al Qaeda
has him.
Well, actually doesn’t have him, but he’s on their side.
A “born-again”
Muslim, Azahari Husin is a former professor of statistics
who
studied in Great Britain and Australia, before he
became enchanted
with the Muslim religion, and allegedly training in
Afghanistan and
the Phillipines. He’s a member of Jemaah Islamiah (JI) a
militant
network that espouses the creation of a fundamentalist Muslim
country
in Southeast Asia. Husin is suspected of designing the
bombs that
took out the Marriott Hotel in Jakarta in August of 2003, as
well as
the Bali, Indonesia bomb that killed more than 200 in 2002.
